Eating Ice Cream on a Hot Summer Day at Kimball's

This is the stuff American Summer Nostalgia is made of. It’s National Ice Cream Day, but it’s also 87 degrees and about a million percent humidity. It’s also a sunny summer day in the middle of July, and it’s the best homemade ice cream on the east coast.  Enough reasons to go to Kimball’s Farm. Part of the joy of finding meaning in the travel is to creating those little memories.  Long after I’ve forgotten the coolest restaurants to eat at or sights to be seen, I’ll long remember the feeling of ice cream dripping down my hand on this hot summer day, and walking in the sunshine, walking under covered bridging, kids laughing and running around and the t-shirt stuck to my back.
