A travel guide to Surf City where summer lasts forever in Huntington Beach. This place brings the promise of never-ending candy-colored summer days, the perfect wave and glowing sunsets. This is one of my favorite Southern California Beaches, with pristine white sand, a city area that’s a part beach town, part downtown just steps from the beach, lots of sunshine, sand, shopping-the kind of place that just sings that Cali vibe.

Today is California Surfing Day (yes, that’s a thing), and the motto is Stop, Drop and Surf.  I figured what better place to be than the city known as Surf City Although I’m a recent transplant to California and haven’t taken up surfing myself, I am mesmerized by watching surfers dance with the waves in what looks like to me an ocean tango. Back in the Midwest, the leaves are starting to fall, but in Huntington Beach, summer stays forever.
