This modernist masterpiece and museum have undergone several refurbishments, rebuildings, and redesigns. The roof of the building is said to honor the Legend of St. George as he pierced the back of the dragon with his sword. This gallery is a collection from JD’s trip through this amazing structure.

One spot is the roof, where the dragon comes alive in the scaled ceramic tiles. I dreamt I walked through the blooming Flower Fields of Carlsbad. A sea of pink, white, red and orange flowers in rows of waves as far as I could see. I stepped into a painting with the breezes blowing off the ocean and could see the ocean from atop the hill. I realized I wasn't dreaming. This was a dream come true.
