Yesterday in the texts between M, JD & Z, we talked about how different the seasons are between us. M is now living near Boston and has had to battle several winter storms already. When the blizzard hit last month, it forced M to stay in while viewing photos of Z (Los Angeles) and JD (Phoenix) playing in the sun. As they frolicked in the warmth, M was trapped inside during the bomb cyclone.
But then there are these quiet, silent, peaceful moments that M gets to enjoy, where everything is blanketed by snow and trees cast shadows overhead. She gets to hike across her “yard” of 13 acres up into the woods, and she wouldn’t trade that for anything.
